Seat Guru to the rescue

So, you're doing your online check-in through United, and as you get to the "seat selection" part of the process, United tries to up-sell you on Economy Plus.

Mmmmmmm extra leg-room. Yummy. (Never mind that this used to be the standard distance between seat rows). But which seat should you choose?

You spy an open aisle seat in the very last row of Economy Plus. 44C. Halfway down the plane, it's perfect, you think. No brats kicking the back of your chair, and no clumsy idiots elbowing you in the head from behind as the claw their way over their fellow row-mates to stand. Easy access to the 'facilities'.

But a tiny voice cries out in the back of your mind. You remember seatguru.com. You open a new tab, nav to the site, and scan for model of your flight:The Boeing 747-400

And what do you find?

Red Zone? Limited Recline??? Abort! Abort!

Whew. That was a close one.

Thanks Seat Guru~
